The Study Area Service provides a designated quiet space within the library where students and researchers can focus on reading, studying, and completing academic tasks without distraction.

This area is designed to promote concentration, discipline, and respect for other library users engaged in academic work.

🎯 Purpose of the Study Area

• To provide a silent environment for individual study
• To support exam preparation and academic review
• To encourage research and reading habits
• To maintain order and discipline inside the library

🪑 Available Facilities

• Individual study tables and chairs
• Group study tables (limited discussion allowed)
• Proper lighting and ventilation
• Charging stations (if available)
• Access to reference materials nearby

⚠️ Study Area Rules

• Maintain silence at all times inside the study area.
• Mobile phones must be in silent mode.
• Group discussions must be kept at a low voice.
• Food and drinks are not allowed.
• Do not reserve seats by leaving personal belongings unattended.
• Respect other users’ concentration and privacy.

📋 Usage Guidelines

• Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Use the area only for academic-related activities.
• Keep the area clean and organized after use.
• Report disturbances or issues to library staff immediately.

👥 Group Study Policy

• Group study is allowed only in designated tables.
• Maximum of 4–6 members per group.
• Discussion must remain at a low volume.
• Group sessions should not disturb silent study zones.

🚫 Prohibited Actions

• Loud conversations or noise-making
• Video or voice calls inside the study area
• Sleeping or occupying multiple seats unnecessarily
• Playing games or watching unrelated media
• Moving furniture without permission

👤 User Responsibilities

• Maintain discipline and respect at all times.
• Use the space for academic purposes only.
• Leave the area clean after use.
• Follow instructions from library staff.

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Closed on Sundays, Saturdays and holidays
