The Internet Access Service provides students, faculty, and staff with controlled access to the internet inside the library. This service is intended to support academic research, learning activities, and access to digital educational resources.

All internet usage is monitored to ensure responsible, ethical, and safe use of institutional network resources.

🔐 Access Policy

• Only registered students, faculty, and staff may access the network.
• Users must log in using official library or school credentials.
• Internet access is time-limited during peak hours.
• All activity may be monitored for security and compliance.

📌 Internet Usage Rules

• Internet must be used for academic and educational purposes only.
• Access to social media should be limited to research or communication needs.
• Streaming videos, gaming, and entertainment browsing are discouraged.
• Downloading large non-academic files is prohibited.
• Users must not attempt to bypass security restrictions or filters.

🚫 Prohibited Activities

• Accessing illegal, harmful, or inappropriate websites
• Installing unauthorized software or extensions
• Hacking, scanning, or interfering with network systems
• Sharing offensive or copyrighted materials without permission
• Using the internet for commercial or personal business purposes

⏱️ Time Usage Policy

• Each user is allowed up to 1 hour per session when demand is high.
• Sessions may be extended if no other users are waiting.
• Users must log out immediately after their session ends.

🔒 Security and Safety

• Do not share personal passwords or login credentials.
• Always log out from accounts before leaving the workstation.
• Avoid entering sensitive personal or financial information.
• Report suspicious activity or system issues to staff immediately.

👤 User Responsibilities

• Use internet access ethically and responsibly.
• Respect network policies and library regulations.
• Maintain proper behavior inside the internet area.
• Follow instructions from library staff at all times.

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Closed on Sundays and holidays
